sugar, spice, and everything nice.
that's what little girls are made of.
well...if she's anything like me, we might have our hands full.
my parents called me the "general authority baby" because i went bald on top for a while...

for my 3 yr. old birthday, all i wanted was a batman watch. (my mom made this "watch" out of felt and puff paint, i loved it)
what happened to dolls?
they had to mandate the "11 second rule" when i was a toddler...because i couldn't be left alone for more than 10 seconds without causing havoc.
evidently, sometimes that rule was broken
and i had a bit of an attitude.
when we were kids, if we got grouchy, our parents would call us "ferguson". like, "oh no...what happened to our beautiful daughter meredith? all i can see is ferguson."
we probably developed some type of complex from that. kind of traumatizing ha ha.

and then there was the infamous "jonathan taylor thomas" stage, as andrew calls it....when i was a total tomboy for all of my youth. (this was full blown. all my friends were boys. i was first pick during flag football at recess. i shopped at the boys section of old navy...those convertible pants that zipped off into shorts were my favorite. i even wore boxers for a couple of years.)

I love everything about this. Especially the Jonathon Taylor Thomas stage. Love that you wore boxers! So funny. I can't wait for this little girl to be born... Even if you're in Texas. She is going to be darling and so stylish in all those clothes you make her! :). So excited for you two!! Love, Nash
ReplyDeleteLOVE this post. Mike and I laughed through the whole thing. I hope this little baby girl is just like you and andrew. I can't wait to meet her. Can't wait to see you and your belly in a few weeks. Love you guys.
ReplyDeleteJust remember, after all that, you turned out to be quite a lady!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog! It's so cute. I had a huge tomboy phase too- it's cool. :)
